The newest divided, skirts can (hardly be distinguished from the ordinary variety, even when the wearer is walking briskly. They are warmer, do not blow about so much, and have definite advantages] where strokes requiring a "moun-| taineering stance are concerned.

One of the disadvantages of, the ordinary suede jacket is the fact that it has to be very much too loose if it is to afford sufficient freedom for easy swinging.

Red seal-skin trimmed an "ensem- ble" of dark mulberry double satin, very wide bands of the fur, de- corated the Chinese wrap-coat. The folded "coolie" hat of satin was turned up with the seal-skin.
