"MIDSHIPMAN JACK”—-

ORIENTAL THEATRE.

A charming love story inter- weaves the adventurous action of the film "Midshipman Jack" R.KO. Radio Pleture, featuring Bruce Cabot and Betty Furness at the Oriental Theatre.

Cabot in the title role of "Mid- shipman Jack" is a young cadet who shuns rules and regulations to court his Commandant's daughter.

The climax of the production is an elaborate and thrilling specta- cle, presenting war manoeuvros with seaplanes and speedy sub- marine-chasers making an attack upon enemy submersibles. The spectacle ta topped with a daring stunt, a head-on crash between an aeroplane in full flight and an on- coming subchaser commanded by the film's hero.

Princess Cantacuzine will be hereafter known as Mrs. Julia Cantacuzin Grant.

Mr. Alfred Sheinwold, one of the better known of the younger com-1 posers of difficult Bridge problems.

hoping In honour-tricks, thereby to conceal his lack of de- fence from his non-vulnerable op- ponents, and East's trap pass of his partner's Overcall after. South's Double, hoping thereby to create in
