"THIRTY DAY PRINCESS”........

KING'S THEATRE

Never before has charming Syl-j 8 Sidney, star of "Pick Up" and "American Tragedy", heen so con- vincingly demure' as she is in "Thirty Day Princess," now playing" at the King's Theatre. Always an actress worthy of front page fume, Miss Sidney wins new laurels in this new picture laughable tale of a great impersonation which places a down-and-out ham actress in the public cye as the crown princess of an obscure European country. Hired to substitute for the real princess, who is ill with the mumps, Sylvia plays her role even to the king's taste. In fact, it's a royal treat.

Cary Grant, as Porter Madison III, Is the virile hero and Vince Barnett is Count Nicholaus, other- wise known as "Sourpuss", thei Jilted fiancee. And the cast is well supported by such luminarles as Henry Stephenson, Edgar Nerton and Edward Arnold.

“THE GREAT JASPER”—

MAJESTIC THEATRE -

"The Great Jasper," how show- ing at the Majestic Theatre, is a specially interesting and amusing sereen version of Fulton Oursler's famous novel of the same name.

Richard Dix in his portrayal of the Great Jasper gives one of the finest performances of his career.

Vera Engels, a young and beauti- ful German actress, plays the part of Mrs. McGowd, and 'Edna May Oliver as the fortune-teller is her usual amusing self.

Florence Eldridge, Bruce Cabot and James Bush are other notable

players in the supporting cast.
