"We hava no news as to when the Shanghai-Canton air service will be resumed," an official of the China Travel Service, agents of the China National Aviation Corporation, stated this morning.

"There are repeated vernacular press reports stating that this service will be resumed soon,” he continued. "Even the local broad- casting station has made three announcements to this effect, but this is not true. A Nanking official news agency at Hong Kong stated that our service will be resumed in October 1. We wish this were true,"
