Soaring towards the top as an exporting nation, Japan has turned eager eyes upon the Latin-American countries; hitherto dominated by the United States and the old world.
While other exporting nations were dropping their commerce with the South Amerlèan repablies, Japanese tradesmen have increased their sales from 100 to 1,000 per cent. As an opportunity, to provide room for ita expanding population, Japan regarded with pleasure the steady flow of her sturdy soos to the new worlds until Latin-Americans violently resented the indux, and staged
anti-Japanese riots.

G. Wella' fantastic sensation. Yet all the time the man is in that rocking chair, but cannot be seen.
The tale of the film centres around a scientist, who manages to make himself invisible by means. of an obscure drug and then, half crazed by its effect, sets about to make the world realise his unlimit ed power. He does so in a gra... phic, startling manner, and strangely enough, there isn't a moment when the audience is not aware of the unseen man's pro- sence on the screen, when he is meant to be there.
Claude Rains, London and New York stage star, makes his debut in the film with William Harrigan, Gloria Stuart, Dudley Digges, Una (O'Connor, Henry Travers ада
