As expected, the German Club were too strong for the Radio Sports Club and recorded their first win for the season.

The leading teams, South China and Chinese R.C. again proved their superiority, winning by 8-pil, and 6-nil from the Police and Kowloon. Bowling Green Club, respectively.

Hong Kong cricket has re- ceived a severe set back with the pending departure of A. C. Beck, the Colony Interport fast bowler and left-handed batsman, for Manila.

Beck does not yet know when he will be leaving, but expects to be transferred within a fortnight for an in- definite period.

It is considered almost 'cer- tain that Beck, who played against Malaya last Novem- ber, will not be available for the Interport in Shanghai this year. He was a member of Eric Mitchell's triumphant 1932 team, after having played in Shanghai in the 1930 series,
