Calcutta Devotees Careless With Flaming Torches

Calcutta, To-day. Thirty persons were burned to death and 40 seriously injured when fire broke out in a temple near Tinnevelly, yesterday.

Flaming torches carried by devotees set fire to the thatched roof of the temple, from which there was only one narrow exit.

WALTER HAGEN KILLS BOY IN CAR ACCIDENT
