On Empire Day, May 24, a special appeal to the Colony for funds on behalf of the British Empire Cancer Campaign in aid of Cancer Research work will be made.
It has been arranged that this appeal for so worthy a cause will take the form of a flag day, and it is hoped that a consider- able sum will be collected to assist in the fight against the cancer scourge, - Subscriptions may be sent to the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation or to Sir William Shenton,
