The Third Annual Meeting of the New Territories Agricultural Association of Hong Kong was held at the Chinese Y.M.C.A.. Kowloon on Saturday.
Those present were the Rev. H. R.

Tetzel, Hon. Secretary, Mr. T. P.
Tong, Hon. Treasurer, Lady Ho Tung. Major C. M. Manners, O.B.E., Mesara. Tang Wei Tong, Fung Ki Cheuk, Chiu Kam To, Ng Sing Chi, Tang Yau Shan and Tang Pak Kau,j
members of the Executive Commit-: tea, Messrs. Ma lu Ting, Li Saij Lung, Yu Kai Nam, Lam Woon Cheef .and others.
The Chairman said that the fin- ance of the Association was satis- factory, showing a credit balance of $2,626.96 as against $2,088,78 for! 1932, and $1,170.29 for 1931.
This result was indicative of a continu-, ance of the usual generous support from the public, which made him, and the other members on the Exe- cutive Committee feel the more grateful to the donors whose names were included in the Financial Statement. The main support was from the Hong Kong Government whose annual grant of $2,000 was another example of its interest in the welfare of the people of
the New Territories.

Despite protests of State Department, some of the 25 Ameri-
ean fliers, many of them Army Reserve officers, sign up at New York for their steamship tickets to Colombia, where they will act as instructors to the Colombian air force. Some signed contracts binding them to fight for Colombia in events hostilities with Peru are resunied.

MISS NEILSON-TERRY'S NEW PART
Sweet Nell Of Old Drury Revival,
An interesting piece of theatrical news is that Julia Neilson's daugh- ter. Phyllis Neilson-Terry, is play- ing Nell Gwynne, her mother's famous part, in "Sweet Nell of Old Drury," which Charles Macdona is presenting at the Prince's Theatre. Miss Neilson-Terry appeared in the. play during her South African tour) In 1928:
"Sweet Nell of Old Drury" was the most important milestone in the careers of Julia Neilson and her) husband, the late Fred Terry. It was their first essay in manage. ment. The play was produced at the Haymarket in August, 1900, ahd after a somewhat tentative opening it became a great success. "The Senrlet Pimpernel" was staged five years later, and the two plays be- came the most popular pieces in their repertory for nearly thirty years.
It is good news that Mr. Macdona is to continue his cheap price policy! [at the Prince's, where he began so
prosperously with "Diplomacy" nd] "The Wandering Jew," and con- tinued less successfully at the Winter Garden with "On Rocks."
