OBITUARY

Resident In Colony

For 30 Years.

MRS. GEORGINA STONE

The death occurred at 12.30 p.m. to-day of Mrs. Georgina Stone, the wife of Mr. P. E. F. Stone, of the staff of the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Company, Ltd., at her home, No. 5d.. Dock Quarters. Kowloon.

Mrs. Stone, who has been an in- valid for many years, is an old re- sident of the Colony, having argiv-. ed here over 30 years ago. Be- fore coming to Hong Kong, Mr. Stone spent some time in Japan.į She was a native of London.

Two daughters and two sons eur- vive Mrs. Stone, Mr. Fred Stone ix in Japan, and Mr. W. Stone is in' the local government. Miss Dorothy and Miss Nora Stone are in Hong Kong.

The funeral takes place this afternoon, passing the Monument at Happy Valley at 5.30 p.m.

Over 50 years ago one of the many hundreds of locomotive erank-axles manufactured at the River Don Works, Sheffield, now Vickers Works of Messrs. English Steel Corporation, Limited, despatched to Australia, and, in November, 1881, was put into eer vice on a locomotive by the New South Wales Government Rail- ways.
