FUNG KEONG RUBBER CO. CHARGE LATE EMPLOYEE
The charge of the theft of secret formulae from the Fung Keong Rubber Company preferred against, Cheung Kwok-wai was withdrawn at the opening of the bearing this morning before Mr. E. W. Hamilton at the Central Magistracy this of morning, charges of the theft -bundles of papers and books contain. ing formulae, and the theft of rub- bér samples being substituted.
After the case for the prosecution was opened by Mr. Horace Lo, and evidence was given by Mr. Fung Yat-hing, works manager. the case was adjourned.

Opening his case. Mr. Lo said: "The complainant in this case is the late employer of the accused.
