A very satisfactory years' working was reported by the Hon. Mr. C. G. S. Mackie, who presided, at the Ninth Annual Meeting of the Hong Kong Telephone Company, Ltd. at Exchange Build- ing this morning.

The Chairman in his report intimated the possibility in the near future of a radio telephone link between Hong Kong, and practically all other countries in the world, and expressed con- fidence that a telephone servic? to Shanghal and beyond would be available to Hong Kong subscribers in 1935.
