OFFICIAL REPORT MINIMISES EXTENT OF TRAGEDY
Nagasaki, To-day.
The known death roll of the "Asahi Mans" ferry disaster is now five, while 13 are still missing, thus contradicting the earlier reports that only 11 of the 350 passengers had been saved.
The disaster occurred yester- day afternoon, when the loaded 'vessel. capsized alongside
a pier at Nagasaki.

Thirty of the passengers are in hospital, suffering from ex- posure and various injuries. but so far, only five corpses have been recovered.
The authorities believe that many of the sturdy dockworkers managed to bcramble on shore, in' spite of the bitter cold. With typical phlegm they went to their home and the loss of life was not so great us was at Brst feared.- Reuter.

Nagasaki, To-day. Forty-one have been found frozen to death on the snow- bond island of Dagelet, off the cast coast of Korea.
