Recluse Charged With Four Murders.

GRUESOME FIND RECALLED

}

Dallas, Texas.

The gruesome discovery of a rotten sack containing pieces of clothing, and a bullet hole in the wall of a small East Texas shack,, have led to the filing of murder charges against a 51-year-old recluse, George Patton, in con-) nection with the disappearance on Thanksgiving Day, 1932 of a family of four.

"

Jess Sweeten, Henderson County Sheriff, who has been making intermittent investiga- tions into the case, in an effort to trace the whereabouts of the family, brought Palton here for questioning, after which murder] charges were filed.

The family was composed of Mr. J. W. McGehee, 25, his wife Carrie. 21, and their two chil- dren, a boy aged five and a girl jaged two.
