The examination of the prob able effects on British Overseas trade of the recent alterations In the French Import quotas has now been completed.
It reveals that the arrange. ments made will involve an im- mediate reduction of 75 per cent. in the United Kingdom exports! to France of a wide range of goods which are already subject| to quota restrictions.
In addition, it will bring under similar restriction articles which at present are not subject to quotaa.
