Mannish Coats And Bright Jerseys.
LATEST TYPES OF COATS
Mannish woollens, louse and Arm Lwill weares, diagonal stripes and
- brightly coloured jerseya-these are what to wear on "raw" winter mornings.
Some of the new woollen coats are given a novel forward flare to the collara. Fur revera are made to stand upright instead of flat, the rest of the cont is very plain and man-tailored.
Other coats, not No particular about their wearers' figures, are made of extra thick and soft jer- sey materials in warm shades of
blue, green, and brown.
Some are made to look like knit- Ling. They have pinched-in waists, fl bucks, long wrinkled sleeves
with square tops, and belts that tie at the back or front.
Among new colours for coats are "London fog" (a smoky-grey), "Plover's egg" blue, "Charleston" blue, and "Longchamp" green.

Style That Failed
To Please.
The drastic off-the-forehead decree in millinery which was one) of the unpleasant developments of late autumn fashion is not making progress.
It is coming in for much hostile criticism from women who belong to two opposing schools of milinery thought the straight-on-the-head or the forward-tilt poises.
It is neither becoming nor smart, they say, for, though now, it gives | the impression of dowdiness.
One hears — and eccasionally sces-the much-discussed off-the- forehead hat, but a glance round the smart lunching places shows that a chic woman is wearing the amall turban or tricorne tipped over the right eye.
"I'm Not So Young As I Was."
But It's Astonishing How Those Symptoms of "Age" Disappear When the Blood & Nerves Are Built Up By
DR. WILLIAM'S PINK PILLS.
There is truth in the adage:— "You are just as old as you feel.” Yet it need not be true that you are hopelessly on the down grade simply because symptoms indica- tive of advancing years are bother- ing you jurt now.
May-be you are finding your eyesight troublesome, despite the use of glasses. Or your nerves and temper get too enally traved by what formerly seemed triffes. Your appetita e fickle and your digestion capricious. Aches and pains in the joints, limbs, and back cause you discomfort and concern.
When such symptoms become manifest they certainly prove one thing, and that is that your blood Is in poor condition and needs puri. fying, enriching and building up. It is lacking in red corpuscles and haemoglobin, by means of which Ffe-giving oxygen is carried from the air you breathe, and nourish- ment and iron from the food you eat, to the millions of cells which make up your body, and thus your whole system has become starved.
What, then, fa the best and quickest method whereby thin, watery, impure blood can be sup- piled with these all-essential miss. ing elements? Scientific test, as well as over half a century
