Van Der Lubbe Condemned To Death
Berlin, To-day, Chancellor Hitler, and the Prussian Commissioner. Gen- eral Hermann Goering, were yesterday informed of the verdict of the Reichslag
fire trial.
It is learned, from a usually trustworthy source that the ver- dict condemns Van der Lubbe to death and acquits the three Bulgarians on grounds of lack of evidence.
The verdict also acquits Tor- gler on the charge of incendiur- Ism, but it is understood that the Court will hold him for a new trial with other Communista on a charge of high treason.
