FUKIEN REVOLT

Kiangsi “Reds" Join

Rebel Troops.

NANKING TROOPS TAKE- -DEFENSIVE__

Shanghai, To-day. According to military, obser vers from Chekiang, the situa- tion in Northern Fukien is ex- tremely serious, though major fighting is not expected for a week or so.

Judging from their preparations at the front, the Central Govern- ment troops are taking up a defen- sive position. They are strengthen- ing their defence works in the vi cinity of Yeaping, where, it is be- loved heavy fighting will break

out.

The fact that the defeated "Reds" in Klangri have moved to the Fu klen border districts and are Co- operating with the rebels has been established.

They are forming a vanguard for rebels and will probably be the first to come to a clash with the Central Government troops.-Cen- | tral News Agency.
