A graphic picture of the paradise of beauty that nestles at the bottom of the sea is given by Dr. Roy W. Miner of the American Museum of Natural History who, in order to prepire an authentic coral reef for the museum, spent uncountable hours in a diver's helmet on the ocean floor.
Describing the beauties of the fish and plant life that he saw. Dr. Miner writes in Natural History the following observation of a Bahama reet:
