REPULSE BAY

Next Wednesday's M.C.L. Fete.

ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR

Wednesday next will be a Great) Day in the lives of the children of Hong Kong.

It is the Gala Day of the Minis- tering Children's League, the one day in the year when Repulse Bay assumes the likeness of Blackpool or Margate.

Everything that can be thought of will be provided for the delight af the youngsters: chutes, Aunt Sallien, a fish-pond, and lucky dips stored with hundreds of toys spe cially sent out from London; dance hands and nigger minstrels; com- petitions, for which prizes will be given, in the form of swimming races, sand-castic building compet

There will be a toy stall at which parents and uncles can purchase toys, bonks or gumes from an un- usually varied stock of gifts to gladden the hearts of the children.
