Labour May Break Away From De Valera

Dublin, To-day. Anticipating an early general elec tion in the Irish Free State, Gener- al O'Duffy, Director-General of the Irith National Guard, will begin a month's organising campaign next week.

General O'Duffy's prepara- tions are based on the belief that support given to Presi dent De Valera's Party by the eight members of the Labour Party, who hold the balance of power, is unstable, and that the President will be forced to dissolve the Dail.

The recent pay cuts have not in- creased Mr. De Valera's populari- ty with the Labour members, but earlier opinion was expressed that
