CLEVER DANCERS.-The Mickey Twins with the “eda- cated feet," who are very clever tap dancers, will appear on stage at the King's Theatre shortly.
Association Championships
(Continued from Page 9).
Y.M.C.A. Divers Favoured Morrison, who was surprisingly beaten by Mak Wai-ming (C.S.S.C.) at the last Association gala, wil not be in the running this time as) the dives he will have to compete against will be too intricate his liking.
L. Morgan, another Y.M.CA entrant who has not yet been seen in action outside of the Y.M.C.A. bath, may spring a surprise and win the event.
for
In the absence of Mias Yeung Sau-king (S.C.A.A.) who has been egrettably indisposed, Miss Chan Yuk-fai of the Chinese Bathing Club has upheld the prestige of Chinese Indy swimmers in the Colony by entering five finals.
Although not nearly so the well-known Miss Yeung, she is
fast 4
a beautiful swiramer, and. will probably carry off the 440 Yards Free Style as well as the Back Stroke event.
In the 50 and 100 Yards Miss Chan may be outclassed by Mrs. A. C. Schreuder and Mrs. M. Head of the Y. M. C. A. I have not yet seen her in action in a Diving contest, but I be- lieve she is quite good and has a very fair chance of winning the title.
B.I. Apcar Line steamers have excellent accommodation for Mrs. Schrender v. Miss Yeung. 1st and 2nd class passengers.
Breast Stroke now that Miss Young Sau-king is out of the race.
It will possibly come as great surprise to European swimming enthusiasts that Miss Yeung Sau-king is also an accomplished diver. The Chin- ese are looking to her for a vic. tory.
Possibly the greatest sur. prise in the heats in the Ladies' championships has been the remarkable come-back of Mrs. M. Read (nee Maudie George). She staggered even her own supporters by her brilliant win in the 100 Yarda Free Style over Miss Yeung Sau-chun and Miss Chan Luk-fai (C.B.C.).
