Two of the three 12 h.p. M.G. Magnettes-one driven by Captain G. E. T. Eyston, and the other by Earl Howe-finished first and second in the 1,100 cc. class, against strong Italian and Continental opposition.

Both broke the records for their class at every stage of the race,
