OVER thirty of the second batch of subscription griffins are ex-

pected to make their debut on the local turf on Saturday when

the second Wong Nei Chong Stakes-and the second Valley Stakes will be the featured events. They are considered to be far superior to the first batch that raced at the annual meeting, but very little has been written of them, and the public, as a whole, have not yet be- come fully acquainted with their performances.
