LAST DAY OF ANNUAL RACE MEETING
(By RAPIER.)

The Annual Race Meeting- concludes to-day with programme of eight events, the most interesting of which the Subscription Griffins Champions and the Australian Champions.
nre
King Salmon, favourite for the Valley Stakes and then à ̈ ̃non- starter owing to an attack of colic, will probably figure prominently in the subs. classic, though I am inclined to think that Warrington and Jingle may prove dangerous. The second meeting of Woodland Stay and Pelar Star should.create considerable interest. I do not think Mr. D. S. Li will again allow Mr. Frost to set the pace and re-. main in the rear. Night Star is another good candidate and every-; thing points to a fine race with probable record at the end of it.
The following ponies might be worth watching during the after- noon: Daylight Eve, Solar Star, White Butterfly, Stickypast Alexandra Hall.
