What I mean is that many people who have followed the training cload- ly and are well up in matters per-1 taining to racing have hinted that Jack is the best griffin of this year. Personally I have not seen the pony lately, but I have heard very encouraging reports of him from reliable sources, and, there- fore, I would advise readers of the Chine Mail to bear the name of
