Australian Board Meets To-day.

DELEGATES ARRIVE WITH LAUGHING FACES.

Sydney, To-day.

The rift between the Australian Cricket Board of Control and the M.C.C. may be satisfactorily concluded to-night after the Hoard meeting to-day.

The Board of Control met at 10.30 a.m. this morning to dis- cuss the question of "body-line" bowling and its harmful effect on cricket.

The meeting was held un- der the greatest seerecy and behind barred doors. Most

of the delegates arrived with laughing faces which aug- gests that a happy solution to the problem will be found. A statement will probably be issued to-night.

― Reuter.

M.C.C. REPLY.

The M.C.C. reply to the Austra- llan protest was:--
