The "Big Five" English banks show a small decline on the year's working, but in spite of this only two of them have reduced their dividends.
Lloyds Bank, Ltd., paid a dividend of 12 per cent. against 18 1/3 last year, while the National Provin- cial Bank, Ltd., reduced their dividend from 16 to IL per cent.
Barclays Bank, Ltd., again paid 14 per cent., and the dividends of the Midland Bank, Ltd., and the West- minster Bank, Ltd., also re- mained unaltered at 16 and 12% per cent, respectively.
