POLICE FIND SKID MARKS.

While patrolling along Is land Road in a motor cycle combination, "-driven by Traffic-Inspector Alexander, McInnis, Traffic Sergeant

who was seated in the side car, noticed some skid markis near side of the banking yes- terday afternoon.

The discovery was made on a dangerous bend just before the distillery is reached at Aberdeen. They made investigations and discovered that the party that left the skid marks in the car, had had a mira- calous escape from

death, for the fall was several hundred feet. The car had apparently gone partly over the banking as wheel marks were found on the hillside.

Both Police officers scoured the hillside below, but could find no trace of an accident.
