YESTERDAY'S REGISTRIES.
A total of 35,645 tons was en- tered in respect of yesterday's ar- rivals. Of a total of 12 ships which brought cargo here, 6 had shipments over the four figure mark, while 5 were British.
Nine ships carried cargoes for ports beyond, of which 4 were Bri-i tish,
substantial four carried cargoes.
Passengers brought here inclúd- led 58 foreigners and 1,001 Asiatics. A total of 931 travelled on British vessels.
The air mail for each country will be landed at the place nam- ed in brackets.
The-Air Mail Service from Saigon to Europe is weekly. The Hong Kong-Saigon connection will be maintained by the regular fortnightly alternate weeks by any sailing of the French mail steamers and ou available steamers that can make the connection. at Saigon.
Letters for this route should be marked "Safgon-Marseilles Air' Service" and handed in at the G.P.D. or Kowloon Post Office.
