Comment was made on the poor support given by the motor cycle enthusiasts throughout the Colony, and it is anticipated that unless a last minute rush of entries are re- ceived today, the holding of such events will become a thing of the past. Twenty-eight entries have been received to date, but the "clos- ing time has been extended until 5 p.m. this evening to allow others to participate. A good day is pro- mised and many marshalls have volunteered their services to help to make the Trial à success.
Trial number plates, route cards and programmes will be distribut- ed on Tuesday, October 4, at 5.30 p.m. in the compound of the Cen- tral Fire Brigade Station, by the kind permission of the LG.P., the Hon. Mr. T. H. King. Competitors are asked to turn up and get their cards and plates, so that, the latter may be affixed to avoid delay on the night of the Trial,
