OWNETS. are purchasing and using Japanese coal to the detriment of the Chinese coal industry, in con nection with their business, the Seamen's Union and the Pilots' Union have written to the Shanghai Chinese Shipowners Association re- questing that body to conduct on investigation so as to determine who are the traitors and punish them The writers say that the blood of the "Chinese who have died on the field of battle against the Japanese had not yet dried up when these traitors resumed, trad- ing negotiations with the Japanese simply in order to benefit them. selves.
