Yesterday's figures at the Har- bour Office suffered a drop, the total tonnage entered being 30,513.

Of the 1t inward .registries, 7 were British and seven of four figures. British shipping, there- fore. compares well with other. nationalities, accounting for more than half of the traffic terminatingi there or passing through.

Five British vessels passed

through with good cargoes, out of

a total of eight of different Four of this total nationalities, number carried capacity or almost Two ships capacity shipments, passed through in Ballast..

Of the total of 885 Asiatic

pas- sengers arriving here or passing through practically, half, were transported on British ships. In addition. 73 Europeans-all that arrived here during the day. travelled also on British vessels.
