AFTER MISHAP.

Collision And Death

On Voyage.

After his ship had been badly damaged in collision, and two; of the crew had been accidentally kill- ed, Captain Walter Elliott, skipper of the Ellerman steamer Roumelian (2,687 tons), disappeared at sea.

Detectives visited the Roumelian

when she docked in the South West India dock, London, but could and; nothing to account for the skipper's | disappearance.

The Roumellan was in collision with the French cargo steamer St. Nazaire in a dense fog off the Needles (Isle of Wight) on Whit- Sunday.
