The V.R.C. swimming gala was featured by the appearance of four interporters, L. Roza Pereira, H. M. Remedios, W. Lawrence and 8. V. Gittins. The latter named two did not participate in the first gala, Lawrence being physically un- ft, while Gitting was suffer- ing from an Injured arm, Saturday night'a swimming gala, the second to be held this season at the Victoria Recreation Club, was open only to members and their friends.

The attendance was not as large as usual, five rows on the south side of the bath's seating capacity being unoccupied.
