France Jubilant.
Boussus and Merlin, two of France's most promising players, succeeded in eliminating the
Miki Japanese invaders.
and Satoh did not show the same brilliant form which saw the eclipse of the Australian Davis Cup pair in the Fifth Round. They appeared nervous and erra tic, but this did not in any way detract from the brilliance of the French pair's play. They were superb and kept their nimble op frequently outpositioned them ponents always on the move and
with well-directed shots down the side-lines. France is jubi lant over the success of their youthful representatives as their only hopes of capturing a Wim- bledon title rest on Boussus and Merlin!
