NAZIR ALI'S BOWLING
The All-India touring cricket eleven must have felt satisfied at the conclusion of their first important fixture of the tour. They forced a strong Sussex eleven under the captaincy of one of their own fellow-countrymen to a very creditable draw after securing a slight advantage on the first innings.
Time and again the ring of spectators voiced their appreciation of the manner in which the Indians fielded. Navle, behind the sticks, made some wizard saves and proved a most entertaining and proficient stumper. The Maharajah of Porbandhar also set a very line example to his team when in the field.

Tourists In Colombo "Strongest Side To Visit Australia"
"A stronger English Rugby League side has never visited Australia," was the opinion of Mr. Hutchins, one of the managers of the team, as given in an interview during the tourists' brief stay at Colombo when Australia bound. Thought the weather was exceedingly warm
the tourists went ashore and saw the sights and also enjoyed a refreshing bathe.
