The River Kent had lost her rudder during the gale on Wednes day morning while on her way to the fishing grounds. The Lowther Fri. picked up her 8.0.5. signals when off Tory Island, Northern Ireland, Sat. and reached her after twelve hours' battle with the heavy seas.
