Mr. Shigemitsu Expects to Make Slow Recovery
Shanghai, Yesterday. Although the operation per formed on him was successful, Mr. Shigemitsu had a relapse this morning. The doctors state that he is gravely ill.
transfusion of. Following a blood from an elder brother this afternoon, the condition of Mr. Shigemitsu, whose life hung in the balance, showed improve- ment and it was stated at 11 p.m. that he was out of danger.
Unless he suffers a relapse, doctors expect Mr. Shigemitsu to make steady, although slow pro- gress towards recovery.
