MURDER OF AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS IN
AIRMAN
LANCASTER, BROTHER PILOT, HELD BY POLICE
MRS. KEITH MILLER FIGURES IN TRIANGLE,
DRAMATIC SEQUEL TO DEATH
Miami, Florida, To-day.
A dramatic sequel to the death here on April 21 of the American airman, Mr. Haden Clark, at the home of his fiancee, Mrs. Keith Miller, the fa- mous Australjan airwoman, is the arrest on a charge of murder of Captain William Lancaster, who was Mrs. Miller's companion on several long-distance flights.
Captain Lancaster was also staying at Mrs. Miller's bungalow on the night of the tragedy and, it is said, cheerfully talked with Mr. Clark before going to bed on the subject of their home troubles.
Captain Lancaster said he was later awakened from his sleep by a noise and found Mr. Clark lying wounded from a pistol shot. He called Mrs. Miller and informed the Police of the accident. He then rushed Mr. Clark to hospital, where he died. → Reuter's Special Service.
