TWO SENSATIONAL MURDER

CASES

VICTIMS KIDNAPPED FOR RANSOM AND THEN KILLED.

Complicated Trials for Assizes,

The murder cases are related in that one of the four accused in the first case, Cheung Sau-fu, is accus- ed of the second murder. a unique occurrence of being charged with two murders al- leged to have been committed on separate dates with a lapse. of a fortnight between the two, and in different parts of the Colony.

The First Case.

The accused in the first murder case are Cheung Man, allas Cheung Ngo-wai, alias Cheung Hon-ching, nilas Wong Hoi, alias Ll Ki-kwong and Cheung lu-wah, Cheung Tsze- san, and Cheung Sau-fu.

Victim A Student.

The victim in this case was a student who lived with his parents and other members of the family at 273, Main Street, Shaukiwan West. He disappeared and was subse quently discovered dead off Victoria Gap Road, on the Peak.
