Found attempting to stowaway on the ss. Talma, yesterday, a Chinese was arrested and charged this morning, before Mr. J. A. Fraser. He was convicted and sent to jail for one month, with the option of a fine of $50. A Chinese détective found the man, concealed behind a quantity of baggage in No. 2 hold.
