CHINESE EXPRESS JUMPS RAILS.

Passenger Car Overturned.

Hauchow, Jan. 14.

A serious accident occurred on" the Lung-Hai Railway yesterday when the east-bound express jumped the rails shortly after leaving Chengchow. One freight and one passenger car were over- turned, killing one man and in juring four railway guards. As a result, the train was delayed mány hours. It is reported that the gate-keeper at the railway crossing is now under arrest.
