LARGE CROWD PRESENT.

Brilliant sunshine favoured the Fannual children's” sports at the Kowloon Cricket Club yesterday afternoon, there being a large: at- Postponed from November 11, 1981, owing to inclement wen- tendance. Hundreds of girls and ther conditions, this match, in aid of Earl Haig's Poppy Day Fund, boys participated in the numerous. evonts with great enthusiasms, and was played under ideal conditions on the Club ground yesterday the spirit displayed; was splendid. afternoon. A fair sized crowd witnessed the game, including H.E. Lady Feel was welcomed by Mr. the Governor, the General Officer Commanding the Troops in China Justice R., and Mrs. Lindsell, and later presented the prizes to and the Commander-in-Chief of the China Fleet. Before the start the winners. and during the Interval a Band from `H.M. Ships played a number | of popular airs which were well appreciated by the spectators.
