** Rome, Dec. 21. A diplomatic incident has arisen between the Vatican and the Italian Government over a troupe of scantily clad dancing girl who all nightly perform in a music hall on the Piazza Pratis trazzi in the immediate vicinity of the Vatican City. A vigorous, protest against this "unseemly and shocking spectacle" has been ledged with the Italian Govern- ment by the Papal Secretary of State, Cardinal Ppgelli, in a verbal note presented to day to the Italian Ambassador at the Vatican Count de Vecci. The note insists that the perform ance of the dancer's be stopped immediately as it constitutes a grave violation of certain clauses in the Lateran Treaties, design- ed to safeguard the sanctity of the Vatican.-Trans-Ocean Kuo- min.
