BRITAIN AND FRANCE.
Rugby, Yesterday. The date and venue of the in- ternational Conference of Govern- ments, concerned in the Repara- tions problem, upon which the Special Advisory Committee under the Young Plan has reported, have still to be fixed. Meanwhile dis- cussions on technical issues that arise are proceeding between French and English experts.
The report gained currency in Paris that an early meeting be- tween the heads of the British and French Governments was in pros- pect, but the French Prime Minis ter to-day denied that he had been invited to confer with Mr. Mac- Donald in London. He said it was not at present contemplated to hold any arch meeting which) would only be opportune after the experts had completed the task on which they were now engaged.— British Wireless Service,
