OF GERMANY.
Herr Hitler Outlines
1
His Policy.
H
AMITY WITH FRANCE.
Berlin, Saturday. That a National Socialist Gov- ernment would honour Germany's private commercial debts, was em-) phatically stated to-day by Herr Hitler in an interview with British correspondents, in
newspaper which he briefly outlined the basic political and economic principles which would guide such a Govern- ment.
As regarda foreign policy, Herr Hitler declared that it would be based on a complete understanding with France, whose nature, how- jever, he did not specify.
Concerning Germany's commer- (cial relations with other countries, Herr Hiller forecast a high tariff on foreign food and the reduction of all other imports to an absolute- ly essential minimum, because It tended to undermine the nation's wealth and created unemployment. Private Debts.
Reports that Germany contem- plated the proclamation of a mora- torium on her private debts to foreign creditors were vigorously denied here in official quarters. It
stated
that these reports, which led to a heavy slump in German bonds on the New York stock exchange yesterday, must be attributed to the machinations of international speculators.
Was
Furthermore it was pointed out that these reports and the fact that they were circulated on Wall Street contrasted strangely with the op- timistic commentaries on Ger- many's financial situation which had recently been published by various leading New York journals;

DR. SZE UNWELL,
MYSTERY OF GENERAL KUTIEPOV.
Russian General Carried to Villa.
THIRD DECREE APPLIED.
Paris, Saturday. The Kutiepov mystery was again revived to-day by a report that the police had discovered a new clue
to its solution and was conducting an extensive search in Fontaine Bleau where the remains of the general are said to have been in- terred in the cellar of a villa,
According to the report which has created a good deal of sonsa- tion here, the new clue has been; furnished by a convict named Col- lin who is serving a long sentence for robbery. Collin recently in- formed the authorities that he was able to throw some light on the mystery of the general's disap- pearance. At first it was thought that Collins merely wanted to break the monotony of prison life by con- cocting a story and being brought to Paris to be questioned about it. When, however, some of the details furnished by Collins filled in with information already in the poasca- sion of the police, the authorities took notice and Collins was really brought to Paris and subjected to
searching examination.
From what has hitherto been re- vealed, it appears that before bla arrest Collina lived together with a Russian dancer who had once ad- mitted to him that she knew a man who had assisted in the kidnapping o General Kutlepov. The general, it in asserted, was then carried off to a villa in Fontaine Bleau, whose! exact location the dancer did not learn. In this villa the general is said to have been held prisoner for two weeks, steadfastly refusing to reveal his secrets. In the end his captors are alleged to have resorted third degree methods, finally strangling their victim who WBE buried in the cellar of the villa- Transocean Kuomin.
