YESTERDAY'S CRICKET RESULTS

Navy Beat Army at King's Park.

TWO HALF CENTURIES.

On the Navy ground at-King's Park yesterday the Royal Navy defeated the Army by three wickets.

The Army lost two quick wickets but a third wicket stand between. Lt. Hamilton and Lt. Barlow pro- duced 75 runs and changed the whole complexion of the game. Hamilton, who is in the running for an Interport blazer, scored 59 hofore he retired, and Barlow con- tributed 37 to the total of 155. Mid. Hunting captured 4 wickets for 26 runs and Mid. Boyle 3 for 36.

A sixth wicket partnership be- tween Capt. Barnett and Lt. Dixon produced 85 runs and placed the Navy in challenging position fafter losing half their wickets for 69 runs. Sig. Williams, the Army fast bowler and a candidate for Interport honours. claimed J wickets for 28 runs in 12 overs.
