WENDY'S LITTLE NEEDLEWOMEŊ More Furnishings For Your Very
Own Room.
Would you like to make a pretty dresking-table for your "very own" room”
You'll want a big wooden packing case for the foundation of the dressing table. It will rest on its side, with the opening facing the room. You can camel the top and sides in some gny colour, smoothing the wood first. with sandpaper and then giving it two coats of paint. If the wood is very rough, you may prefer to cover the top and sides with the same material as the gathered frill that goes across the front, wing drawing-pips to faster, it cirsen.
Fix a wooden shelf halfway anness, inside tile box, as, shown in the illustration (A). Screw in two little brass hooks at the two top corners of the front, to take the rod on which you will hang the curtain-frill. This should be wide enough to hang in folds, and will reach just to the door.
