Lahore, Saturday. Shots fired at an intruder, mla- taken for a bandit, have led to the arrest of 'Second Lieutenant J. R Welchman, of the Welch Regiment, stationed at Dawalpindi. The inci- dent occurred in a railway train. The intruder was a Muslim ser- vant of another European paSSON- ger who entered Lieut. Welchman's compartment unintentionally. The Officer, probably having still fresh in mind the recent murder in a train of another British Officer, fired and wounded the intruder.- Reuter?
